TENET had a significant presence at the 32nd European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) Meeting held in Aalborg, Denmark, from September 18-20, 2024. This annual gathering is a cornerstone event in the field of orthopaedic surgery and research, attracting numerous academic and clinical stakeholders. Our participation in such a prominent conference was a strategic move to enhance the visibility of the TENET Action, foster engagement within the orthopaedic community, and elevate awareness of tendon research among leading scientists and practitioners.
Engaging with the Orthopaedic Community
TENET showcased its initiatives at a dedicated booth in the exhibition hall, expertly coordinated by Dr. Silvia Chiera, our Scientific Communication Coordinator. The booth served as a central hub for networking, providing attendees with insights into TENET’s projects, research objectives, and collaborative opportunities.
Spotlight Symposium on Tendon Research
A highlight of our involvement was the symposium organized by Prof. Manuela Gomes (Chair) and Dr. Manuel Gomez-Florit (Vice-Chair) as part of the EORS scientific program. Held on Wednesday, September 18, from 15:00 to 16:00 CEST, the symposium brought together experts to discuss the latest advancements in tendon research. This session aimed to inspire dialogue and collaboration within the orthopaedic research community.
