TENET COST Action will participate in the 35th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB), taking place from September 7-11, 2026, in Antwerp, Belgium. As a premier event in the biomaterials field, the conference gathers leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to exchange knowledge, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and drive innovation toward clinical translation.
TENET Symposium
TENET encourages all members interested in the field to submit abstracts to the endorsed symposium “From Muscle to Tendon – Advanced Biomaterials for in vitro Models and Therapeutic Development”.
In line with TENET’s mission to unite researchers across disciplines and countries, the session will foster exchange between biomaterials scientists, biologists, engineers, and clinicians working on the muscle–tendon continuum. Presentations will highlight how advanced matrices, engineered microenvironments, and dynamic culture systems are generating more predictive in vitro models and accelerating the translation of regenerative strategies toward patient benefit.
By bringing together diverse expertise, the symposium aims to stimulate new collaborations, promote shared standards, and strengthen the European research community in tendon and interface biology.
